ENGRAVING AND MARKING
On all of HEFRA’s products additional engraving of monograms, emblems, and trademarks can be done; all of that, to give the items more personal and unique character.
FLATWARE STORAGE CASES
HEFRA’s tableware deserves refined and elegant cases. There are many possibilities to select the right case for the HEFRA’s silver ware. We offer high quality wooden cases, and for the connoisseurs of the most valuable pieces – luxurious cases finished with leather. They are carefully made and durable – perfect to store HEFRA’s silver ware. Dark wooden cases with dark blue fabric lining, or light wooden cases with the silver hinges and velour inside – all of the offered cases will make your silverware look stylishly. For extra protection and comfort use, tableware is covered with velour cloth, which is part of the set.

For this set we offer smaller cases for the storage of place settings for 12.

Case is suitable to store place settings for 6.
To meet our clients’ requests we will enrich the chests with additional engraving. Owner’s initials, trademark of the company, monogram, or inscription will emphasize uniqueness of the contained silver ware. Appropriately to your taste and liking we can adjust the color of wood, as well as color of the lining. Additional changes – like changes of hinges, lock, adding track, and covering the case in leather is no problem for us.
SIGNATURE MARKINGS
Items made out of noble metal had signature markings already in XVI. The signature marking was a guarantee of the quality of the item. During the time of the activity of the Fraget’s company signs minted on the silver and silver plated items underwent several changes, thanks to that, now their authenticity can be easily proven, and the date of their production determined. HEFRA's merchandise has special system of signature marking. They apply to all products and they certify their authenticity.
The following signature markings are used:
- H 18 - 10 5 or HEFRA 18 - 10 – for the stainless steel merchandise 0H18N9, which was produced in 2005;
- H MET - 60 5 – for the brassware MZN 12, for the brassware M-63, and for items made out of the stainless steel 0H18N9, and then silver plated with silver 999, which were produced in 2005. 60 gsm means, that on the surface of 24 square decimeter of tableware there is 60 grams of silver, which gives 24 microns of coating;
- HEFRA MET 5 or H MET 5 – for the table ware made out of brass M-63 or from the stainless steel 0H18N9 plated with coat of silver 999 with the thickness of 15 microns, produced in 2005;
- H - 925 5 – for the silver ware made out of silver 925 and coated with silver 999, which were produced in 2005; Those items, besides manufacturers signature have hallmark of Testing Office for the silver of the highest purity. Samples of hallmarks – on the HEFRA’s merchandise there is a letter “V”.
SILVER PURITY
Silver is a soft metal, too soft for the cutlery to be made out of highest purity silver 999. That is why our silverware is made out of silver 925. This cutlery is marked with “V”, to prove their conformity with norms.
Plated cutlery are covered with coat of silver, so in this case silver can be of highest purity. That is why for this kind of cutlery we use silver 999.

Warsaw Silver Ware Factory HEFRA S.A. possesses Seal of Approval of the Health Quality from the National Institute of Hygiene for all products made out of:
- brass M63 covered with galvanic nickel and sliver 99,98%,
- acid resistant steel OH18N9, 1.4301, X5CrNi1810 galvanic plated with silver 99,98%,
- high nickel brass MZN 12 galvanic plated with silver 99,98%,
- Ag 925 by PN-75/H-87206 galvanic plated with silver 99,98%,
- acid resistant steel OH18N9, 1.4301, X5CrNi1810. OH18N9, 1.4301, X5CrNi1810.
All of the certificates are valid until 14.05.2015.
